Attleboro—Michael F. Giroir, 53, of Attleboro, passed away on August 9th, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.

Michael was born in Boston on August 28, 1967 to the late Loretta (Reilly) Giroir. He was raised in Norton and worked in the transportation industry as a supervisor for Polar Beverages. He previously transported for Turner Steele and the Easton Public Schools food Department. Michael was an avid hockey fan who also enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and playing cards.

Michael is survived by his wife, Linda (Collins) Giroir, his five children; Cassandra Giroir, of Attleboro, Chrissy Giroir, of Attleboro, Justin Giroir, of Attleboro, Missy Brady, of Attleboro and Shawn Brady, of Attleboro, two sisters; Diane LaVerde, of LA and Barbara Savini, of Easton, a brother; Bobby Giroir, of SC and six grandchildren; Tyler, Nevaeh, Mya, Kyleigh, Maecynn and Luca. He was preceded in death by his brothers; Stephen Giroir and Mark Cannata.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours in the Kane Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, on Sunday, August 15th from 1 to 4p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main Street, Easton, on Monday, August 16th at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Cedar Knoll Cemetery in Taunton.
