RYAN, MARY V. (Murphy), 90, formerly of Edgewood passed away surrounded by her loving family Sunday July 23, 2017 at Saint. Elizabeth Home, East Greenwich. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Mary Murphy. She was the wife of the late John A. Ryan. Mary was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend. She is survived by eight loving children, Michael Ryan and his wife Lynne, Stephen Ryan and his wife Kathleen, Maureen Graziano, Margy Ryan, John Ryan and wife Maureen, Thomas Ryan and wife Maureen, Annmarie Ryan and Mark Ryan. She was the mother -in-law of the late Robert Graziano. She is also survived by fifteen cherished grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mary was the sister of Phillip Murphy and Aloysius Murphy and the late William Murphy and Carol Lynch. Mary was a kind, compassionate, loving person who will be greatly missed. Mary's family wishes to thank the staff at Saint Elizabeth Home for the kind and compassionate care provided to their mother. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday July 26, 2017 at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Church, Edgewood, where Mary was a faithful communicant for decades. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
